Over the last few months numerous lubricant suppliers and manufactures have announce price increase in the motor oils and greases. Increase base oils and packaging costs are predominantly cited as the reason for the price increases. Price increases have been in the 5% -14% range. Some manufactures have announced two (2) price increases in the past 5 months. There is a good chance more price increases to come in the near future and we will watch to see if these price increases stick in the market place.
